proverbs in my country

Old people have been using proverbs for long time and have been teaching their proverbs to their families. In my country usually young people learn the proverbs from old people. Usually the give as the proverbs as advises. One of the famous proverbs in my country is (love to your brother what you love to your self). That means anything that you love to self or wish it to your self love it and wish it to your brother. For example if you like to be rich wish that to your brother to. The word brother in this proverb it doesn’t mean only your brother from your parents. It means any one you know such as your friends, your neighbor and everyone you know.
